Recognizing Resurrection

On the first Easter morning, Mary Magdalene stood outside the empty tomb, weeping — and when she saw Jesus, she didn’t recognize him; she thought he was the gardener. But in that beautiful mistake, we glimpse something true: Jesus is the Gardener of New Creation, growing beauty and life right in the middle of our mess. Mary finally recognizes Him when He calls her by name, and it changes everything. But it doesn’t stop there — resurrection life isn’t just for you; it’s meant to be shared and lived out in community. Just like Jesus called Mary, He calls you by name, and His desire is for you to flourish with your sisters and brothers.
